Now Offering Online Vet Visits with TeleVet in River North
Companion Animal Hospital of River North is dedicated to providing safe, convenient services to our clients and patients. With our telemedicine services, we are able to better serve you in a timely way from the comfort of your own home! To facilitate our telemedicine services, we are using the mobile app, TeleVet. With TeleVet, you can easily send virtual consultation requests to us whenever your pet is sick or injured.
How to Get Started with Your Online Vet Visit
- Download the TeleVet app on the iTunes or Google Play store and create your personal profile and your pet’s profile. Pictures are encouraged!
- When you need us, create a consultation request detailing your pet’s issue. Upload any pictures, videos, and instant messages regarding their issue that you find helpful.
- We’ll set up a time for a video conference call so you can talk with us face to face. We’ll help get your pet feeling better again while keeping you safe and healthy.
*Telemedicine services are only available for current Companion Animal Hospital River North clients and patients who have been seen in the past year.
Using TeleVet to Help with Training
In addition to medical issues, you can also use TeleVet to request a video consultation with our staff trainer, Charmaine! She will help you deal with any behavioral issues that have cropped up during the stay at home order, be your partner in training your dog from puppyhood to their golden years, as well as give you stimulating activities to work on with your dog. Keeping your dog’s mind active is just as important as their body!
Curbside Veterinary Service
If your pet requires a hospital visit after their telemedicine call, we will help you set up an appointment for curbside concierge vet services. Curbside concierge services will help keep our human clients and our team members healthy by reducing the chances of spreading COVID-19.
Upon arriving for your appointment, simply call us from outside at (312) 643-2901 and we will provide you with further instructions. All food and prescription refills will be brought directly out to you to limit the number of people entering the hospital.
